Automatic Recovery Mode

    Hey today i was in school and i took my iPod to watch the hour and i realized it was in recovery mode. when i got home i restore it and everything is fine but i just want to know why did this happen?

    Your iPod probably froze on something... and it turned itself of with a force power down.

    It does that, you didnt have to Restore, just use iPhuc, or iBrickr to get out of Recovery mode.

    open iphuc and then once ur touch is recognized via usb cable (it will pop up with something like iphuc recovery or something like this), type in these commands

    cmd fsboot
    cmd go

    for ibrickr, download here http://cre.ations.net/creation/ibrickr

    and then run it and if it locates ur touch via usb cable then it will tell u what to do from there

    both allow the same thing to be done

    Haha, somehow you could have been holding the Sleep/Wake button and Home button together for a long period of time and it went into Force Restore mode.

    i don't think NO putting in DFU mode is u need some effort to do it, pressing and holding 2buttons at the same time so i doubt, twas happen to me before, i was listening to the music and suddenly stop and when i look on my iPod it is in DFU mode, and dunno how it was happen, just i turn it off and turn on and back to normal
