I was wondering if any clever, awesome hacker out there was in the middle of, or is considering building an all-in-one, one click iPod touch Jailbreaker/Installer.app/etc. in the near future.
I realize it may not be possible, or the process is too complicated. I'm not so inclined and and kinda intimidated by the current Jailbreak guide. I really don't want to brick my iPt. What I want is a simple Jailbreak, move over those awesome iPhone apps, get back the ability to add a Calendar event.

Anyway, here's hoping it's being worked on and will be available soon!

For the most part, that already exists. Search this forum for TouchFree. That will do everything for you except for the last few steps.

Is TouchFree available for Mac? And is it safe? Can you sync back to iTunes after?

the touch dev team over at touchdev.net is making this app as we speak. Go there for updates. There was a bata released but they recommend waiting. Thos should be a fairly basic solition for all you novice hackers out there!

it's actually not that bad fellas, touchfree is complete, I used it last night to hack my device only a few steps instead of 75.
