    Hmmm...this is tricky...

Well, the Dev team will be coming out with a way to jailbreak 3.1.1 or w/e soon, so the best thing you can do is probably wait for the upgrade.

Tip: Don't get the firmware illegally or a pirate will come and gouge your eye(s) out.

upgraded to it awhile back and had problems!

    ipod popup controls didn't work
the volume kept changing! got loud then quite! over and over!
    couldn't jailbreak it

is that a bug or should i just try to upgrade it again?

Try a downgrade to 3.0 (don't ask how, there on the forums).
I have almost no expierience of 3.1.1, I'm on 3.0 and proud

There are no problems as far as I know

So yeah, try a 3.0 downgrade.
I don't *think* There is an official 3.1.1 jailbreak from the Dev team so I would be cautious about that.

Hope it helped in some way.
