i have had a several cases in which my ipod touch will automatically wake(screen turn on) when i take it out of my pocket or go from a dark room to a bright room. im currently testing the 3.0 beta 4 from a friend of mine and he said he hadn't had this effect. just wondering if anybody had had(love double words) this happen to them

It would be 'has had' xD
But I had that happen once. I was sitting in my living room watching a movie and I noticed the screen light up as if I had hit the home or lock button, looked and it was sitting on the lock screen so I didn't think too much of it. That was a few days ago I believe.

im sorry you feel that i was being "cute". i only had a question and was looking for a response.

also you missed anyone. if you are going to be a grammar Nazi about one word i expect you to correct me on all words that could be considered wrong. technically where i live had had is correct. it is a socially accepted phrase as well as y'all, another controversial word that is primarily used in the south.

and what about the "bee". talk about FAIL!

I don't even know if that's possible. Maybe for the ambient light sensor, but there's no proximity sensor on the iPod touch. Hmm.

Don't criticize people on their posts and how it's annoying when you've clearly only been here for less than a week and only have three posts, while who you're criticizing has been on these forums for a year and a half.
