On previous iPod models the screen would dim after a few seconds of inactivity. Is there a feature like this on the iTouch? The only think I could fins in the settings was auto-lock, which I am not a fan of. If the screen locks and you want to make a quick volume or song change you have to press the sleep button and then unlock it. I just want the screen to dim out after a bit. Any suggestions?

    To set Auto-Brightness"

    1) Go to settings
    2) Click on Brightness
    3) turn on "Auto-Brightness"

To get around the lock while the screen is off:

    1) Double click the Home Button (screen and audio controls come up, iPod stays locked)
    2) Adjust Song Or Volume.

The autolock is probably a good thing. There's nothing quite like leaving your iPod out at a party only to find a $300 iTunes bill.

you only have to type in your password the first time. After that it remembers you.

I don't know. I (honestly) only use it to download the free songs once a week.

Yup, I love the free songs. There are always at least two, sometimes three. While they're not all winners, I've found a lot of great songs that way.
