I imported an audiobook I had (12 cd's) but iTunes doesn't recognize it as one.

Theres like 300 song titles on my iPod that's from that book and not a real song.
Is there a way I can tell iTunes thats a book myself, or hide the songs in the list on my ipod?

that's simple. Be sure that they are aac files with the extension .m4a

Then just change that extenstion to .m4b

    That's all.

Uuhmm... It's MP3, I set it to convert to mp3..
Can I have iTunes convert only those songs to aac?

It's also 405 songs, I really can't put my time into renaming 405 files lol

Alright, I got iTunes to convert them to AAC, it's doing it now.
How could I change all extensions?

Why do you convert them to mp3? It just takes up more space.
