Hey there peeps, wanna ask something here.
I'm new here, and just got my iPod Touch few days back.
    Here's the qns:
Why is that in photo one, the Summary says my Audio files are of 2.8GB,
whereas in the Music Tab, it says it's only 1.92GB?
So i wonder, where does the 800MB goes to?
For the comparisons, my nano 5G which contains much more songs, have the difference of 200MB only.

    1. I do NOT use playlists as well, every song that is supposed to be on the iPod is listed under the "Music" category under "Devices >iPod"

    2. the no. of songs under that "Music" category tallies with the no. of files in the "Audio" segment of my capacity bar (click on capacity bar once to show in count as opposed to file size)

    3. Have no podcasts, no voice memos, no music videos, everything that is of "Audio" category is under the "Music" category under "Devices >iPod"

And this is after fresh restore and retransfering back through "Manually manage Musics and Videos"

i believe all my files are in mp3 format. and the files i have in my touch, are in my nano too. so that doesn't reason why they convert it.
    hrmm..

mmmh. i have around 5.8 GB music, and no difference! Can it be settings? Do you have other things in the same folder? Something should be wrong or hidden, becuase your difference is far to much.

Might be you should make a clear restore (new install) that you get a fresh and empty disk! But that is the last option i guess...

Yeap, as new device. I transfered my 1.6GB of songs, after syncing it stated 2.4GB. as stated on first post, i do not have any podcast or anykind whatsoever.
Trying the next step, gonna Restore AGAIN, and transfer AGAIN, but this time using sis' laptop.
