Attaching External Hard Drive to Ipod Touch

    Hi!

    Is it possible to attach an external hard drive to your ipod touch to watch films on etc...


    I might be talking rubbish (may not be possible)...but would be grateful your replies!

    Yes its possible, but you would have to make a dock connector, and write the drivers!

    anythings possible...with increasing modern technoligy and my huge amount of income...its not crazy to think i can live to at least 200

    It would transfer at extremely slow speeds, because the iPod isn't strong enough to support it. A card reader add-on would be more practical if you were looking for extra space.

    Why? You can get a full 480Mbps to a computer running slower than the iPod

    We already have a dock connector. The ipod comes with it

    You could just attach a hard drive with a USB port to the end that normally would go into the computer.

    Someone just has to wright an app that would allow you to use it. Maybe incorporate it into finder or filebrowser.

    Yeah, thats what I was thinking!

    How much time/effort/money would that take for someone skilled enough?...anyone looking for sponsorship?
