    I have a few questions:

Q1:Is the at&t upgrade for iPhone 4 free?
Q2:Are you required to use the iPhone when you upgrade?

    Reason:

My grandma has at&t but doesn't plan on using her upgrade. I have Verizon. If she was to get the iPhone 4 form the upgrade and give it to me, would their be any problems with at&t?

Your grandmother's current phone would no longer work. They deactivate the old phone when they activate the iPhone 4.

And it still costs at least $200 for the iPhone 4 with an $18 upgrade fee. That's best case scenario, and if she qualifies for the upgrade.

    1. No, it costs the price of the iPhone itself plus an $18 upgrade fee.
    2. No, but if you order through AT&T they automatically deactivate the line's old SIM and activate the iPhone's microSIM.

Are you and your grandma on the same account? AT&T has no problems with using/transferring upgrades on different lines in one account, but I don't know what they'd say if you're on two different accounts.
