Astral iPhone Game - BETA!!! (Finally)

    -------------
    After many days of work and testing I am happy to say I am finally releasing a BETA of Astral. For those of you who don't know what this or would like detailed information on the game please check out our site:

    Quick Features

    The Lowdown on the BETA
    --------------------------

    This BETA is available for anyone wishing to test it. I must warn you though that is it is very, very, limited game-wise (not many game features) just the basics.
    I like to think of it as a sort of demo.


    1) SETUP

    For iPhoneOS:

    - install MobileTerminal from Cydia
    - install Java from Cydia
    - goto the website and download latest Astral (not AstralG)
    - unzip the zip file and copy included files onto iPod/iPhone
    - choose accessible something like ~/Java (/var/mobile/Java)
    - In terminal cd to /WORKING_DIR/Java
    - type:
    java Astral.MainGame color
    - test it out!
    (check wiki for commands)

    For Windows:

    - make sure you have Java installed (should come with windows)
    - download latest AstralG from website
    - unzip files into a known directory
    - Run the jar (double-click)

    All Others:
    - I'm sure you can figure it out, pretty much the same as for Windows


    2) GENERAL RULES

    For now, the game is quite simple. Each player has money and buildings on a grid. You each start with a Castle (main base) which results in you losing if it is destroyed.
    You can build Villages for defense and attack, but you must use Astral Lines to connect buildings and create paths from which to attack. As of now you can build 3 basic buildings:

    Castle (have at start)
    Village (defense and attack purposes)
    Astral Lines (must be used to connect buildings)
    [Many more to come but like I said this is more of a demo]

    As of the BETA, there are no upgrades, diffrent attacks, or skills yet.


    3) NETWORKING

    I have decided to include networking in the BETA as a last minute addition. It does function but I recommend you us it at your own risk.

    Networking Tips:
    - to test on the same machine choose any 4-5 digit port and set the server name as localhost or 127.0.0.1 on the client program
    - for local network enter the host's internal ip address as the server name
    - for internet usage it is more complicated. The host must make sure that his router and/or firewall is configured to have the desired port open for incoming/outgoing connections. Then the client can connect on that port with the DNS provided ip address of the host machine (www.ipchicken.com if you want to check it)


    5) KNOWN BUGS

    IF YOU FIND ANY BUGS PLEASE POST THEM HERE!

    - map size limited to 9,9 as max for now

    I'm getting some weird errors when I try to run on Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or what, extracted everything as told above. I've attached a screenshot of my cmd prompt when i try to run.

    Not something that big. More of a turn-based sort of strategy game based on a grid system.

    QUICK UPDATE!!!!

    ASTRAL v1-1 (BETA)

    Just finished a quick updates which fixes a bunch of little glitches. Also:
    1) Created a RunColor and RunNormal bat files to run it faster without going into cmd prompt.
    2) Add a loadable save file called "sample" (you can load it in game as a test
    3) Figured out a temporary fix for Windows color support using Cygwin/X Server
    4) A small screenshot [OS:Windows,EMU:X Server]:
