ok, this gets annoying after a while lol. I am pretty much new to coding apps and really new to Java which means I am having a hard time with Jiggy. I need help with tying my GUI to simple things like text fields, alert windows, and one that will include executing a shell script. I would preferably like to add a button or two, but that is completely optional. PM me for more info... AIM would also be nice. Thanks!

I am the same as you. Check out GoJohnnyBoi's apps. Currently i am building and editing his "Swipe.app" (Without permission, sorry it won't be released though Johnny.) He has just started too therefor they're pretty basic, perfect for us noobs.

well, I actually figured that out just fine. But no, I am having issues getting it to execute Shell scripts. They run from the Jiggy IDE, but not the springboard.... I don't quite see what the difference is, but if there is a fix please let me know.

    I have
    Code:
    executeShellCommand("reboot")
    and
    Code:
    executeShellCommand("launchctl stop com.apple.SpringBoard")
    Running fine.
Also *Off-Topic* How would i go abouts of getting a button on the screen? I have a nav bar at the top and one at the bottom, both with buttons on them. But how do i get just buttons on the screen?
