    Hi,

I've searched this about 3 or 4 different ways with no useful returns; I know I've read on some threat regarding this that there is a way to just edit a plist but I can not find where is located on my Touch 2G. I just Re JB mine with RedTool (Thank you Chris, this an awesome tool) and now I have a jumble of icons to deal with. Anyone know where I need to look or and app that will do it?

Hold down on an icon and drag it?

Catagories from Cydia or hold your finger if you are talking about moving icons around.

If this is a problem, just post a screenshot? Sorry, it's hard to tell by what you said.

If it's not, just tap and hold an icon for a few seconds, and you should be able to move and delete apps. Also, if you want to delete Cydia apps, just download CyDelete from Cydia and respring.

Sorry for the delay in responding...

Yes I can just drag the app from page to page but would prefer to be able to edit a file or better yet use a program to change the placement of apps on the pages. Does anyone know where the file is kept that maintains what app is on what page?

    Thanks

Edit: I am not using Catagories and I am on Firmware 3.0.

I have one video about putting your apps into categories, and another tut on putting blank icons.

When youre done arranging, your home screen could look like this:

Thought Categories was not yet compatible with 3.0 firmware.

I've used it categories before, was trying to see if I could just cheat in placing the 80 apps in the order I want them. Hmmm think I may have thought of a way to find this info, I'm going to search for the 5 column mod, I believe there is a description in there about this plist file. I swaer I'm going to put together a post on the location of these file for general reference once I uncover enough of them.
