Kind of a dumb question but I'm just curious. Ever since I got my iPod I don't even use my laptop anymore. This things a breeze to browse on, despite taking a little longer to type.

Just a quick question. If you have wifi on and it's a bad connection (1 to 2 bars) does that negatively affect battery life?

Good question... I don't know really. There's no way to actually test this. But it shouldn't. The only reason why it would is because it'll take longer to load pages and you'll spend more time because you have to wait for pages to load. But the batter drain would be caused by the fact that you used the iPod longer, not the signal directly...

    Indirectly yes. Otherwise, no.

The funny thing is...even with 1 or 2 bars pages still load fairly quick so it's cool. I just figured it would cause some battery drain because like a cell phone...if the cell has bad connection it drains the battery much quicker, but I guess because it's not a phone it won't have the same effect? Thanks for your input.

I'm on my laptop which is roughly 2 inches away from my touch.

Letting my little sis auto-tune her voice lmao...she's a singer so she thought I sucked...

But yea, I nvr use my touch to browse the net unless I'm too lazy to go to my computer...

Haha T-Pain app? Love that app. I find myself on my Touch more than my laptop because it's so portable. I can just walk around with it in my hand rather than sit down in one spot. No doubt typing is much quicker on a computer, but the touch has been my primary computer lately.

I use my iPod more than my netbook and computer. I'm still obsessed with it too. It's a new 4G but I had a 3G before it. I can actually type faster on it and it has the auto correct.
