Are we a step closer to jailbreaking the Ipod Touch 2nd 2.1.1?

All you can do is just check the dev's websites on a daily basis, but you have to realize pretty much everything about the 2g is different from the 1g, well processor wise at least. So that means they are basically starting from square one and I guess are actually working on a hardware jailbreak and completely dumping the NAND. I'm not a fan of hardware mods on electronics I actually like, so I'm gonna hold out on that. But I do give them props for giving it a try. Anyway, from what I see, it might be awhile.

As I heard, the hardware part was just something to see inside the iPot2, for a better way to softjailbreak.

Really? Your probably right, I got it from an unreliable source but I didn't see any different anywhere.
