are warrenty's transferable?

    i want to buy a new ipod off ebay and a few im looking at are still under warrenty, if i buy the ipod will the warrenty come with it or is the warrenty only good for the original owner?

    ok great, so if i bought an ipod that couldnt connect to any wifi, and it was under warrenty i could take it and have it replaced?

    Unless they find that the litmus paper in the headphone jack is tripped then your out of luck.

    Or if it has any noticeable damage (like dents on it etc.) because then they will just tell you it's related to you dropping it and handling it too roughly (even though most the time the problem isn't related to that in any way) but they will say that to get out of giving a replacement device.
