So that we can actually listen to our music for an alarm, quite silly not having this function, even thought my old ipod classic had it.
    Hope they will do this.

havent heard of somthing like that....... but they would have to sepparate the alarm using the internal speaker since it CANT play polyphonic sounds.... but i do hope that some day soon we have this option so i can actally leave my ipod on the dock with an alarm so it actually plays music in the morining

They should fix the clock.app bug. It allways without fail, changes the time all by itself to an hour ahead. On every firmware. Its really annoying having to change it back every month or two. You would think they could have fixed it by now. Its allmost as bad as the last update for the iPod mini, that disabled the sound check feature. (assholes)

    Speaker?

    Doubt Apple would do that...
iPod Touch was designed to be an iPod therefore it carries all the classic iPod stuff...
Do the speaker hacks that work for the iPhone work on the iPod touch?

Not sure how this would help...

My alarm always turns itself off.

They better let me use my songs, even though I can only use them through an external speaker I don't care.

I DON'T WANT YOUR F*CKING "TIME PASSING" APPLE!

    Sorry.

Apple are very clever, they have built an ipod touch which is an amazing "must-have" device, yet they didn't include certain software on purpose...for example the software update that gave early buyers of the touch a couple of extra applications...this was $20...assume they sold 10million of the early software ipods:
10m x $20 = $200million dollars .... now assume in total they've sold 30million ipod touches, and everyone wants the ALARM TO WORK LIKE IT USED TO!!! (I am one of these furious people) so they issue another software update for 20 bucks
    30m x 20 = $600million dollars
even if my calcs are way off you get the picture.
