Espcially one that doesnt need an internet connection. Idc free or paid.
I remember a while back there was an app that let you download the entire Wikipedia database onto your iPod... I forget what it was though. It did not require an internet connection, but it took a lot of space.
I rememberr it too, but I cannot find it

I thought that was for your computer. It was a few gigs.
Yep, I bought it and I would say its well worth it. It does have a few issues (perhaps 2% of articles will come up as "article not found in this dump", you usually have to search the name of the article), but overall I'd say its worth it. It's saved my ass quite a few times when I'm on road trips and have a bit of homework.
It is just called encyclopedia, you download the app in the app store, which is $9.99 right now, and then after it's installed, you have to download the wikipedia dump (2GB) before you can use it. Fortunately their servers are pretty good, so it should only take an hour or so.
Guys, stop posting the millions of wikipedia clients from the app store... all but one require an internet connection, and if you didn't read the OP, he wants one that doesn't. That one is encyclopedia.
