Are there any fixes to Safari's cache problems?

As great as Safari is on the Touch, the one thing that gets me is how often it loses its cache. With just two tabs open, one tab loses its page sometimes within a minute of looking at the other tab. This seems to be semi-random, not always predictable (sometimes both tabs retain their pages for a long time). This in itself is hella annoying, but whenever it happens, that tab forgets all its history, so the back and forward buttons don't work! I can somewhat understand the tiny cache, but come on, storing a series of URLs for each tab doesn't take up much space!

Anyway, anyone know any fixes or workatounds for these issues?

I believe the caching has to do with the amount of space that Apple has set aside. The more complex your pages, the quicker your other "tabs" will disappear from memory. Probably the same issue that leads to the music stopping when you're surfing complex pages.

No fix that I know of -- I'm all for telling Apple that we consider this a bug and want it fixed ASAP --
