are sennheiser good for these?

    sennheiser cx300 are shipping to me, but when I sell my ipod, should I include in my ipod or keep it, are cx300 good for listening to rock, punk, rap,hip-hop, and hard rock?

    Why didnt you ask before you bought them. And the CX 500 would be better for what you're listening to. The CX 300s are more for mellow stuff with less bass. They will work fine but if you can stop the order and get the CX 500s you should, and I recommend them.

    I own a pair of CX300 (1 and 1/2 years old) and all I can tell you is that they're great but they're bass driven. Rap, Hip-Hop, Dance, Pop and even Classical sound great. Pretty much anything with a beat. For Rock and "hard rock" (you mean "Heavy Metal"?) I think you'd be better off using the stock buds. CX300 sound a bit "muddy" but you get used to it. Overall, congratulations on your purchase.

    for alternative, indie the cx300 are fine with different tips imo
