Just today, I noticed that when I rotate the earphone jack when its plugged in to my ipod, at some points it loses sound from the left side. I rotate it more a bit and then sound's good, but a slight move cancels out the left side. Could my earphones be failing? Time for new ones? They are in-ear Philips.

Well, don't buy them again...if these ones just broke out on you, why waste money on the same ones?

they lasted for a whole year and they sound good. and the real problem is that when you pull the wire at the end a little bit, thats when it looses sound on the left. plus im not gonna buy 50 dollar earphones that "last forever"

    If desperate, get Skullcandy.
