are multiple restores bad for my ipod

    i have restored and dfu'd and jailbroken and dfu'd and restored and dfu'd and jailbroken adn dfu'd ...etc... many times and im wondering if that ever starts to hurt my ipod touch 2nd gen in any way
    i just think that might somehow hurt it?

    No but you can test it for us.

    Restore like 100 times in one day. And keep on doing it till it doesn't restore anymore.

    Over time the flash memory would wear out and give. But that probably take years, if not decades to accomplish, even with frequent writes.

    there are a lot of threads like this with different questions the answer is no to almost all of them because your software in almost all cases does not affect your hardware

    errg, people have to understand that restoring does nothing more to you flash drive than syncing. Though there is a minimal gain in intensity, it's barely different.
