i know there are much threads about skins and cases but now i want to know something...
i bought a belkin silicone case but it made white points on the back so i want to change it... i really watch out that there are no scratches but they came -.-
now i have to decide between:
    - InvisibleShield (24.95)
    - This One (7.99)

well i dont want ANY scratches but i want to put it in my pocket everytime.. should i buy invisible for 25? or is the "bestskinever" enough?

I have the invisible shield and love it. I think, correct me if I'm wrong, that the bestskinever is the same sort of deal and works just as good.

The InvisibleShield was or still is 50% off the last time I checked. Im not sure at the moment but you can search around the forums or google and check.

As for both of the skins, BSE doesnt have warranty. If something happens to the skin or if you want to replace it, you have to buy a new BSE, but for InvisibleShield, you only have to pay 4 bucks for shipping and handling, with the Lifetime warranty.

In the long run, IS is worth it, but in the short run BSE is worth it. Take your pick.

ive had my 2g ever since they came out, i love it!
first i had the invisible shield (front and back), and ill say this:
the invisibleshield back is very hard to apply, and i didnt feel really comfortable with the way it didn't go all the way around the corners (maybe my fault). the material is super strong, thats the big plus.
then i bought the switcheasy rebel, its an awesome hardcase (but can be very difficult to apply), the downside of this case i thought was the screen protector. the screen protector wants to bubble at the edges when you put the rest of the case on it, so...
i purchased another invisible shield front for my switcheasy rebel, reapplied the case and everything is PERFECT! TOTAL PROTECTION! i throw the thing around like its a pack of smokes, lol!
read lots of reviews, consider your budget, and best of luck to you

the switcheasy also comes with a plug to protect the place where you dock it (nice), a dock adapter, and a nice stand to watch movies w/

yeah the RebelTouch looks really nice .. can u tell me how thick/big the ipod will be after putting it on? because on the website it looks very thick...
and if u have a white one-> does it fit the black front of ipod?

edit- is the wifi signal still the same?

man, i dont have the exact demensions of the thing, but it does make it a little more thick, which, myself, i dont mind (but not VERY thick, just thicker).
the top of the case goes right up to the edge of the screen surface and is slightly raised to allow for laying your touch down face first without getting it damaged (very nice). i love this case. i am with you on your desire to keep it all slim and sleek, the 2g looks amazing without a case on it, almost like porn

but, id hate to drop my ipod and destroy it, and accidents do happen.
as for the wifi signal... i've experienced no loss, in fact i can pick up my neighbors wifi easily. as far as the case goes the only other thing you may notice with the dock protector plug thing in... is that it muffles the ipods internal speaker slightly. once again, no biggie! i wouldn't trade mine for anything!
i got the black one, it looks amazing! (white looks really cool also, a friend of mine has one of those on his ipod)
    hope this helps you!

NO SCRATCHES AFTER PUTTING CASE ON MULTIPLE TIMES!

edit- the surface of the rebel is nice also, the soft part of the case is a little grippy - the spine looking part is slick... together they are really nice, not too grippy not too slick (as opposed to the full invisishield front and back case, its way too grippy, it will pull other stuff out of your pocket with it, which is annoying).
