Just curious if you purchase an APP, is it tied to your specific device so that if I lose my IPOD touch, I have to purchase all of my APPs again for a replacement device?
    Thanks

I think you'll find the App remains in your Itunes Library. I had a lot of apps in Itunes & when I Synced a new device, Iphone , I was able to access all my Library Apps, Songs etc.

You're applications do remain in your iTunes library. As long as you don't forget the Username and Password that you used to buy the applications, you should be fine.

they are tied to your itunes account.

Restore your ipod, reformat your computer, anything; as long as u have your itunes account you'll be able to get them all back.

They stay with your iTunes account wherever you go. Now movies and music you have to rebuy. That sucks. >.<
