    Hello,

Does the remote and mic work? Just wanna make sure since the description only mentions iPod 2nd Gen.

Everything works on the latest models, like the iPhone 4 and 3Gs and iPod touch 3G. The 2nd generation models (iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G) only support the play/pause button and the microphone... (No volume controls.) The 1st generation iPhone is the same way as the 2nd generation, though requires some sort of adapter... It's lame. The iPod touch 1G just supports the headphones. No remote or mic.

I also heard the remote is not supported by iPhone 3G. I don't get it, Apple just wants you to keep upgrading.

The headphones were probably released before the 3g ipod touch so apple just hasn't bothered updating the description. But the only difference is bootrom and generation so you should be just fine.

If you see anything with "works with iPod Touch 2G" they will work with the 3G. There's almost no difference between them except different hardware and capacity.
