My friend and I are in a heated debate. He says that these crane games are able to be won every single time if you have the "skill".

However, I believe that these machines are rigged and the claws do not have enough tension to pick up the stuffed toy. They are programmed to "PAY OUT" after a certain number of attempts. I mean this is the only logical way for a company to get money right?

So am I right or my friend?

It's chance. I saw it on TV or something. After certain amount of money put into the machine the "Claw" grabs the toys easier. It only makes sense.

I have only ever won one thing from these god damn machines and that was a chocolate bar after my cousin and I shook the machine when the security guard wasn't looking. LOL it is definitely chance.
