I'm sure that many of you know how Aqua Forest is a processor power guzzler. It doesn't take much on the screen for it to slow down to <10 fps.

Well I have good news for all of you who purchased this game and were disappointed. The new power of the iPod Touch 2G can bring out some of the potential of this game. Granted there is still a limit on the power but the game is vastly improved by the new power.

If there is anyone on the edge on wether or not to get it should know that there has never been a better chance to enjoy it.

I know there's a new processor, but i don't think it's any faster. I believe it was implemented just to stop jailbreaking, until a new exploit is found (Why wasn't it on the 3G, i don't know). But still im'm not postitive, this may actually make the game more fun.

That may be the new firmware working its magic.

It's mainly because it's cheaper, I believe. But as some have determined by looking at the serial numbers, this new processor is actually slightly slower then the 1G model. I think that the inability to jailbreak is just a nice bonus for Apple.

I guess that everyone has come to the consensus that it's the firmware doing it. I'm in no position to argue cause I just figured(guessed) that it was the processor. Thanks for the clear up.

In any case, the game did have a small performance boost to make it run smoother.
