Hi can i use aptbackup to get my stuff reinstalled from the 2.2.1 firmware to the 3.0

I heared you first need to do a clean restore before you jailbreak to 3.0 ?

Once the jailbreak is released, not to mention the firmware, you should be able to get the apps back.

You do not NEED to do a clean restore. I recommend doing so, however, so that you get rid of any left overs from 2.2.1.

Well aptbackup doesn't work with 3.0 Beta 5 Jailbroken :'(

    Doesn't look too promising!

just because it didn't work with the beta.. doesn' mean it won't work with the full fw.. but.. who knows.. i suppose we'll all find out soon rite? i'm sure that the dev team has the FW's already jailbroken and tested out.. or if not, they're on stand by and all getting it as soon as it comes out.. and then.. oh how the bandwidth is gonna b filled... lol.. everyone is gonna b downloading the firmware, and then everyone is gonna b downloading quickpwn.. lol...

but... we'll all find out what the verdict is soon enuff...

My suggestion is to make a note of everything important so that if apt-backup doesnt work you can restore your old stuff.
