Im very confused on which way I should go when I get my iPod Touch. I was going to jailbreak it but everyone else says they are upgrading to 2.0 so I dont know what to do. What do you guys think I should do? Should I jailbreak now and wait for 2.0 to be jailbroken or IF it gets jailbroken? Or just stick with Appstore?

Jailbrake it now, then upgrade when the upgrade is released, then wait till you can jailbrake 2.0, then jailbrake your 2.0. That's what I'm doing!

This should be posted under Firmware 2.0 discussions, as it's not referring to WWDC 2008.

Considering the App Store's quality of applications, even if a way to jailbreak Firmware 2.0 is found, Installer won't nearly compare to App Store.

Nothing on installer compares with what's going to be on
the App Store. I will suggest for you to JB now and when the official 2.0 FW is out, upgrade, later on if there's like a way to get both, then JB, happy ending.
