hmm i never thought of that, i actually think that is possibly, couldnt you just ssh into your ipod and find the app that you want and post it in installer. It would probably work but be highly illegal

Sure, you can have Installer work on 2.0. But what would you have available to you?

Jiggy Widgets (They are not apps) though this is only if the Jiggy environment is ported to the 2.0 firmware. And no one has stated that. Emulators This has to actually be ported also. And ROMS. I can't think of anything else.

So basically, nothing. You would get nothing from Installer.

In time, there would be content, but it'll take a LONGGGG Time. People would have to probably switch to Objective-C, But then that would make people want to make apps for the AppStore because, why learn something that complicated just to make FREE Apps?
