No you only get charged once, but this is an odd problem do you get any error messages?

Everything this person described, is my problem also. This is driving me insane. I supposedly have the right software, i've tried everything. The fact that you mentioned this "was an odd problem" is right. Please help

And no there's no error messages, they simply will not load onto my Ipod.

Have you checked all screens of the iPod?

Yeah...grab the home screen and swipe it right to left with your fingers. Small dots at the bottom of the screen with indicate that you have a second screen and which screen is presently displayed...three dots indicate you do have a second screen.

Swipe from left to right and you'll get the search screen..search for anything on the ipod (including your apps, by the way...check to see if they're on your ipod then click on it if it shows up).

Trust me, they're not on there. This is my second one, I bought the touch last summer when they came out and couldn't get it to work either. So I just dealt with it since i'm more into the music, than apps. But i'm replacing my computer with this, so some of these are kind of vital.

They're simply not going onto my iPod. It's crazy. I plugged my cousin's phone in and they're on his. I made a new Apple account, STILL didn't work.

I'm not technologically stupid, but there's got to be something i'm missing!

What's even more weird is I'll uncheck/check the sync apps box. And on the top it'll show them "SYNCING" like "Adding myspace mobile" like when you're importing songs.
But they don't show up when I unplug it.

Is there like a setting in iTunes itself I might not have enabled?

As you can see.... they don't even have their category
