Ok, last night I downloaded a few apps, and I checked them out, they were working fine.
I powered off my Touch to go to bed.
This morning as I started up my Touch, I tapped on an app that I just downloaded yesterday night. It said loading for a few seconds, then it just returned to the home screen. I tried it with a few other apps I've downloaded yesterday night, and they had the same problem. All of them couldn't load right and returned to the home screen. However, I could still load the apps that my Touch came with, such as Youtube or Safari, just not the ones I've downloaded.
Anyone who had a similar problem know what's wrong?

The problem is that they didn't come from the App Store, did they?

I've only come across that happening when apps were downloaded illegally.
    Try re-syncing them?

I just redownloaded them from the apps store and they worked, but I still don't know whether that's just a common bug or something I should be concerned about..

I wouldn't be concerned about it. If it happens often though, I'd first DFU + Restore, and if it still happens after that, take it to an Apple Store.
