Apps wont install on my 2G from itunes

    Everytime i try to install applications in itunes it comes back with an error message saying that the application could not be verified. I dont understand it installs about half of my applications but not the others. Any help??

    Here's the first question - did you buy the App from App Store? If you did, contact iTunes Tech Support. If not, then it's because 2.1.1 isn't jailbroken, which means your not-bought (pirated) apps can't be installed as the iPod itself doesn't see the code signatures required to install.

    I use 2.0, but I have same problem! what is problem?!

    no because if he didnt have the mobileinstallation file then he wouldnt even be able to sync the (cracked) apps onto his ipod into the first place.

    Best bet is to just restore, and then try and re-sync all the apps back on

    I have the same problem. The difference is I'm on FW2.2 The Mobileinstallation file for 2.1 does not work with 2.2 FW. It only hang my ipod.

    I take it you're using a jailbroken Touch 1G with the cracked software, then. In that case, I'm going to suggest doing a clean factory restore to a non-jailbroken state, then buying your applications and syncing them on.

    I also have this problem... And I'm not jailbroken I'm on a iPod touch 2g 2.2.

    but stuff installs fine when I install it from device app store from the iPod.
