Apps without installer on 1.1.2?

    Is there a way i can put apps on my ipod touch without having installer clutter my springboard? I just want only the iphone apps and not the extra mb "other" wil ltake up with installer.

    have you tried uninstalling the installer after installing all the apps you want/need?
    you still need ssh, however. this is so that you can sftp in via your computer and manually delete the installer folder inside the applications folder.

    Well the only option for installer in installer is reinstall. And if i try to take installer off through ssh, there are still some files laying around after i do that. And i don't want the ssh program afterwards either, and the last time i took ssh off through ssh, it stayed on when i took it off, but there is one thing i havent tried, i haven't tried to delete the directories of ssh from the directories lsiten in the 1.1.2 jailbreak zip...hrm..maybe i should try it?
