Sometimes though I just think that if an app is "free" it should be FREE of ads.

Truly if an app isn't worth .99 cents you have to wonder of the validity of it even being there.

Either charge or be entirely free and by free.....FREE OF ADS!

Hey as a Developer and a consumer I understand both points. The pros in ads are much higher than the cons, the main big pro is because of ads many application that SHOULD cost you money, developers are able to release for free. Now an obvious con is that these ads can get annoying and in the way, but the way most ads are set up, they are not really in the way, just ignore them! Thinka bout it, devs put MUCH time into their applications and they deserve compinsation for their time and effort. So instead of having people complain that they charged a couple bucks for an app, they can release it for FREE and have ads that are OPTIONAL. Think about it, you would be complaining that very few good apps are free if these ads didnt exist

The majority of the free apps are crap anyway.
