Hey I'm running 3.0 jailbroken on my 1g touch, and right after I jailbroke, Gangstar worked fine (no lag) but now It lags every few seconds. I have winterboard and SBSettings installed, would those make it lag? I tend to play it in safe mode, but I dont like switching between everytime.
Can anyone tell me what cydia apps would make it run slower so I could decide if I really need them.
    Thanks

If it's making a big difference, you have to play it in safe mode. I know it's a pain. The other option is to turn off Winterboard.

Go to SBSetting -> More ->Mobile Substrate -> turn EVERYTHING off, except for winterboard (if you want to.)

    Thanks for the quick replies!
I love my theme, but if thats the way then it's not the end of the world.
Why does the theme affect it?

I can do it just by going to SBSettings>Processes>Freeup Memory.

Wow, Freeup memory was a very simple solution. I killed all my processes then pressed freeup memory and it had 60mb available and the game ran fine!
    Thank you!

Actually, you can actually access SBSettings from Gangstar when its running slow.

Click the Map and then press options.
You should see your status bar and youll be able to swipe it.
    YAY!
