    Hello all.

Upon countless times I have been installing and app and something stuffs up while doing so. This causes my iPod to say that EVERY app I install from then says "main script execution failed"
The way I fixed it at first was to SSH into my iPod and delete the corrupt apps.

However, lately my SSH hasn't been working. (some1 gave me a link to a replacement for the bsd subsystem but it's 11.3mb and that will take ages to download on my capped download speed.)

... And restoring takes ages, especially with all my songs I gota re-sync.

Does any1 know a better way of removing the corrupt apps?

Can't you clear your queue in Installer?

It doesn't necessarily mean the app is "corrupt".

It could mean a couple things...

    1) The repo is down...
    2) You have not cleared your queues, as hellrider said
    3) You have reached you application space limit.
*Run these commands, if you can SSH, http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1924
(this is the most likely cause for the main script error)

    Try entering this command:

    chown -R root:wheel /Applications/Installer.app
