    Hey guys,

I have only THREE applications installed from the Appstore

    1. Tube London City
    2. Facebook
    3. mBoxMail

Now I went into 'Mobile Applications' on my PC and the IPA files only come upto 2.3MB.

On iTunes my 'Applications' come upto 37.1MB. Now surely they can't extract from 2.3MB to 37.1MB?

I was just wondering what all that used up space is? Thanks.

I have no clue but would guess that the 2.3 is the space in a sort of "zipped" form. Once the iPhone uses the application it takes up more space as it "unzips" the application (BTW: I am talking out of my ass and this is only a guess).

So it took up 37.1 MB; you've only got 8,154.9 MB to spare (minus the OS and what not).

    UPDATE:

I found out what was taking so much space...

    Facebook.

Facebook saves loads of pictures (Profile pictures a & any other random picture you may have viewed) in 'Caches'.

Location: private/var/mobile/Applications/loads of random letters (E.g. 70361FF2-B50E-42CA-BA43-9119FD7D4E6D) find which ever one contains Facebook/Library/Caches/FBImages

That's what took up most of the space (about 32MB).

    Thanks for help anyway.
