    Hey Guys,

I have an iPod touch running 2.0. When I delete an app on the iPod (hold down, and press the X to delete), and then sync with iTunes, the new apps will sync from the iPod to Computer fine, but for some reason iTunes RESYNCS the apps I deleted on the ipod to the ipod.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

Delete them from iTunes BEFORE you sync it after deleting it from the iPod/iPhone.

That would be the obvious solution right?

Well, yes, this works, but is not optimal.

What is the point of the remove function on the iPod if they just get resynced every time?

The application doesn't have to be re-synced every time. You can manually select which applications you would like to include, and then sync.

    mmm... me too...

i think i was the only one that this is actually stupid? i mean... if you already deleted them... iTunes should check the timestamp on the delete event, and keep the last action... maybe even keep the apps in a "restore deleted app" section or something but... i still think it should not reinstall them.

Just untick them in the app sync dialog. Yes, the iPod should delete them from iTunes, but doesn't. Just have to deal with it. If you see it doing it, just cancel the sync.

Yes go to your ipod settings under the applications tab and select which ones you wanted and didn't delete.
