    Ok just a question here.

I just updated to 3.0 and all my apps are on my ipod.

Does this mean that they will all work or do i have to wait for a 3.0 update of the app?

And another question, how many pages does 3.0 have?

    Thanks.

I also read somewhere that you can't exit an app by just pressing the home button, but mine works when i do that. Any thoughts?

For the apps, It all depends on the application. Most of my apps worked fine when I
upgraded to 3.0. Some of the apps are not yet compatible with the new 3.0 firmware. You'll just have to wait for an update.

when i press my home button it takes up to 20 seconds for a large memory using app(spore, simcity) and even some little apps(trebuchet, aim) take that long, but the usual is 10 seconds, which is ridiculous because on 2.2.1 i hit home, and i was home.. now i have to like come back to it later, it takes forever, i understand the loading times and that, but how long does it take to shut off..

It does take a wee bit longer (more like 4-5 seconds), but not as long as 10-20 seconds in my case. It definitely takes longer though than it used to in 2.2.1.

No I've never experienced what you guys have said....
Pressing the home button is the only way you exit apps....
Yes, it is slower for me too...But not 4-5 seconds maybe 2 seconds....
On 2.2.1 I used to press and I was home..BAM !! Just like that...
3.0 is way cooler especially the copy/paste feature and spotlight....I don't have to even touch any apps..I only use the spotlight

I agree - 3.0 is way cooler; Barring this lag while exiting apps, almost everything about 3.0 is faster.

Hmmm, I exit my apps with the Home button and without any noticeable lag... But I agree with gjauhari in that the 3.0 firmware is indeed much faster and reliable, as compared with 2.2.1...
