They work on some, don't work on others. It's a beta, what do you expect

to activate you tube and mail apps, itunes needs to connect to the apple sever. but sense some people aren't developers, there ipods don't get activated and lose access to you tube and mail... pandora should work though

I do not think that is true because I can connect to mail and pandora but not YouTube.

Hmmmm, it must be something to do with YouTube then, rather than the entire firmware itself... But don't forget that the OS is still a beta version, so problems like this are to be expected, unfortunately...

Anyway, since I'm not a dev, I'll probably wait until June to get the actual OS itself (when all the bugs and other problems have been ironed out)...

Except Youtube can't connect and Goole Maps loading slowly, all the other apps work normally.

    I have a ipod touch G1 with 3.0 BETA
    and everything works fine
    including youtube

but to get it to work you HAVE to restore your firmware to 3.0, NOT upgrade
so you have to re-sync all music video etc.

Mine didnt work at first because i updated it to 3.0 but restoring fixes it

You cant "update" unless you are a developer, and i have restored to 3.0 like 5 times, so anyone is there a fix??
