I have a problem with my cydia after using quickpwn beta 0.3 on my iPod.
I was already jailbroken under windows xp sp3 using quickfreedom before, but i decided to rejailbreak so I could use logome. I didn't restore back to factory using iTunes. I went from Quickfreedom -> Quickpwn

Now, none of my apps that I have installed are under the Manage section in Cydia. All my apps are still there, and they work, but they are not being recognized as installed. I've tried restarting Cydia, respringing, restarting, ...

Can anybody help? I don't want to lose any of my data on my iPod. Thanks

You probably messed something up from jalibreaking an already jailbroken device

You should have restored. Try deleting the app from cydia and then reinstalling.

It's because when you rejailbreak using redsn0w it installs a completely new version of cydia deleting the one you already had so it doesn't detect the apps and stuff you have already installed and the only way to fix this would be for a new version say 0.4 to tell your iPod if it already has cydia on it not to replace it or just reinstall all the things you have installed

Well at least I'm not the only one.
Have you figured a way around it, other than to installing the packages again?

Where is the folder where all of cydia applications are installed?

They are installed in /applications and nope have no idea out to fix it

Only 0.4 or later will be able to fix it but it will still require you to reinstall all your stuff

You could change the database of apt-get. But I have no idea to do this.
