I seem to be having a problem with my iPod Touch 4G, even if i have my volume up all the way, whenever i open up an app the sound effects which are suppoused to be coming from the app will not play. The only app which will play sound is the iPod app, but besides that when i open any app such as tap tap revenge or riddim ribbon, the music will not play, and my volume is all the way up. Anybody know how to troubleshoot this or fix this?

Restart your iPod. Are there any apps that will play sound? If there are, then reinstall the apps with no sound. If you can play music in the music app, then it's not the speakers. If none of the apps play sound, and/or if the music doesn't play from the music app, then restore. If that doesn't work, take it to the Apple Store.

    Sorry for the confusing post.

The thing is that the apps will play sound when I plug in my headphone but they won't play sound through the internal speaker
