O.K., I was having problems with the Apps I installed using SSH not appearing. I fixed what I was doing wrong and the apps appear on my iPod fine now.

I was exited and saying, "I did it!"

Except now the apps I installed via SSH/WinSCP won't load, they start to and then crash instantly. Before they even start up all of the way, they crash.

So... I've successfully put them on my iPod after some trial and error, but they won't work...

    ???

So in summary, I put an app(s) on my iPod via SSH and then when I touch it, they crash instantly and will not work.

    What gives?

You have to set permissions from WinSCP, or MobileTerminal!

    OOOOHHH

you guys are talking about setting the number to "0755"

I've done that already, and that's when it won't work, if you don't set that number then it won't even appear on the ipod, I've got it on my ipod, it just won't load when it is on there...

if you are talking about something else then say so...

Set the permissons to 0777 and reboot, that should work, I think...

I'm going to try o775 next, as I hear with most apps it is usually either 0755 or 0775, the 0777 you are talking about it for the "Documents" folder that you have to make in /var/mobile/

If 0775 doesn't work, I'll try 0777 just for the hell of it...
