So I backed up my iPod while it was jailbroken... Restored to non-jailbroken, and some of my apps are still hidden!! How do I get them back?

Re-jailbreak and unhide them? or restore it to factory settings

I didn't mention I can still get into the file system with diskaid. Is there a plist file somewhere I can delete?

And no, restoring without backup is out of the question. I'm not losing all my data again.

Did you install Poof, with everything else? If you did they will be in there, and just click them back open. If not , you may want to do as mentioned above and for sure install Poof next time.

Unless I can get poof without jailbreaking, I'm gonna need a file to delete somewhere. Like I said, I have diskaid.

Either Poof with Jailbreak, or DFU restore, no backup is the only way. Sorry. iTunes backs up a ton of data, and that is part of it.

Do you have a JB iPod or what, the way your talking you sound as if you don't. If you do just go to Cydia and Search and type in Poof, and it will be there and install.
