Try downloading a theme for Winterboard and see if that works.

I'm actually having the same problem, although the causes might be different. I just upgraded from 2.0 custom firmware to 2.0.1 custom firmware (using the latest Winpwn, and selecting the Cydia, installer, and youtube fix to add). When I went to the home screen, all the icons I'd downloaded from Cydia were gone, and when I went into Cydia, it was acting glitchy, as in the icons were taking a long time load and/or had grey question marks next to them. It still shows all of my apps as installed, I just can't access them...

    Help? Please?

Are you sure you're installing graphical applications and not command-line utilities.

Try SSH into the ipod and go to the applications folder and reset the permissions to 0777 on the apps that dont show up. Then restart. If you already have poof installed and boss prefs then just open poof and turn the application off then on again. Usually works.

This is what GrooveMachine told me in the thread I made about this. I didnt try it, but give it a go. The commands are in terminal or over SSH.

    And I used WinPwn.

I am havibg the same problem. I have installed apps from Cydia which are nt showing on the spring board.

    For instance, Customize and bookreader.

How do we get the apps to show. Property changes is not working.
