I know this has happened to many people, but this is different (sadly).
At first nothing would fix it so I was like guess I'll have to restore.
So then what happened... They still crashed!
    So these are the details:

-iPod touch 8gb fresh off a restore in itunes to firmware 2.0.2

-apps crash, not all apps but about half of them
These are authentic apps from appstore wether they're free or I've bought them. Examples include myspace and aol radio
I've tested all original applications that come with the iPod like maps, weather, calendar, etc. and they all work fine so it happens with app store apps

-I've searched everywhere (believe me) and I haven't seen a single case like this so if anyone knows anything at all please help

I've had my iPod for a little less than a year so why would it brick now?
    Should I complain at apple?

    Again thanks for the help

Please understand what a Brick is before you say its bricked:

Some methods that could solve the Problem:

    • Reauthorize your apps. Go to Store > Authorize Computer.
    • Resync the Apps.
    • Restart the Device (Power Off then Power On)

Restarting it like said above has worked for me in the past. Try that.

it is not bricked, a bricked peice of equipment is when it is rendered completely unoperable!

Do you not understand what a brick is? Bricks are non-responding. They don't turn on, the don't boot. You have the privilege of using application on your non-brick.

    1) DFU restore to a regular 2.0.2, downloading no apps
    2) Delete all the apps from your Applications section in iTunes
    3) Re-download them for free
    4) Re-sync apps
