When I try to SSH into /applications, I get "Error listing directory '/private/var/applications'."

    I'm using Winscp

Edit: in fact, /private/var/Applications doesn't even exist for some reason

Edit: Solved. If anyone else has this problem, go to the root directory, select all folders, and go to Command > clear cache.

No that would link it to User applications, If you put something like NES into that it would not work.
He figured it out. It gets symlinked to a folder something like
    /private/var/stash/Applications.#####/

But yea just clear your cache, like he said.
