What Mac Applications do u guys use to make icons for themes? Photoshop? Any Free ones?
Free ones i don't know..
photoshop (i like cs3); get the trial
other (inferior) free programs are gimp, gimpshop, paint.net, maybe some others
Photoshop is, of course, the best.
Free alternatives would be GIMP, GIMPShop (A fork of GIMP that makes the layout more like Photoshop), Seashore, Paintbrush, etc.
picnik.com works online, and is for the most part free.
The "Create" and "Edit" sections are surprisingly good.
I also have IcoFX 1.5 free software.
I have windows but Google: IcoFX for MAC.
I have paid for HypersnapDX. I use it to save as transparent .png because it has excellent quality small kb file size. If you can find a capture utility for MAC, that will do this. It is helpful.
