i dunno if this has been addressed before...so i apologize in advance if it has...
i'm asking this on behalf of a friend of mine.

her itouch's apps are not working, when she goes to use one of them, it looks like it'll load, but goes back to the main.also, when she synced her itouch onto itunes, the apps did not download(install...w/e terminology) onto it.

    anyone have similar problems? solutions?

thanks for your help in advance.

tell her to reboot the device by holding down the slepp and home buttons until she sees the apple symbol and don't mess with it until it's done no matter how long it takes

Do a full shutdown and then turn it on again. Doing this should free up a bunch of ram which is probably the reason why her apps are crashing.

(Don't call it an itouch, people will pounce on you like a tiger)

    --- Edit
Darn you, that one guy, you beat me to it.

Has she thought about buying an Apple iPod Touch ? That might sync better and the apps might work on it.

As for the iTouch... sorry, dont know anything about them

I'm having the same problem and unfortunately this doesn't help me.

I notice though that this seems to happen after I connect it to iTunes (I do not automatically synch) and then after awhile the problem corrects itself. I haven't been able to use any applications other than the ones that come standard on my iPod for a few days now, though.

this is probably because she used a friends account to get paid apps ( im assuming ) and when she synced it itunes did not notice the paid apps ( since she didnt use her own account ) and probably patch/broke it.. This has happened to me
