try reinstall or safemode (use sbsettings)
if safemode doesn't work the app is crap

I'd like to know the reason for this.

I also bought an ipt3 8gb afew weeks ago and i installed afew free apps from the app store. Every now and again, when i try to open one of the apps it starts and then crashes but it happens to all of the free apps at the same time. I re-booted the ipod but it didnt make any difference, but then i went back onto the app store and downloaded a random program and once that had installed, they all worked again??? Its happened twice since i've had it (un jailbroken) and its just happened again after jailbreaking???

It only happens with 'app store' software. All cydia downloads are fine???

You have to reactivate your iTunes store Account in iTunes. Afterwards just Sync your iPod and it should work.
